Answer:

Locavore: a person whose diet consists only or principally of locally grown or produced food.

What is Bittman's opinion of the locavore lifestyle? Home cooking became less important and much less nutritious when women entered the work force. The consumption of real plants and vegetables drastically dropped, and unhealthy foods became the chosen sustenance for families.

So basically, he feels that you should eat what is grown within close driving distance.  That a person would be healthier if they ate naturally grown stuff, without all the additives, did without junk foods, and did without prepackaged meals.

How would you compare Locke's ideas about government with Rousseau
laiz [17]

The social contract principle was introduced during the Enlightment era due to the contribution of both Jean-Jacques Rousseau and John Locke's work and ideas.

The principle describes how the power of a state resides on its citizens, who can grant it to political representatives that are elected through suffrage. Hence, citizens give up their share of state power (their individual rights). In turn, the elected representatives would propose and implement policies on their behalf. This principle is the base of modern representative democracies.
