How did people travel the Nile river? what and with who did they make trades with?

People traveled the Nile with boats or even smaller ships, as well as rafts. All of these vessels were suited for transport and travel along the river Nile. They made trade with different african kingdoms and they traded in rare eand exotic goods which were found in those kingdoms and that couldn't be obtained in Egypt.
