Answer:

Option D

Explanation:

Options for the question are -

A) Kittens develop new features, which help them survive better than the plant offspring.

B) Kittens change themselves according to the environment better than the plant offspring.

C) Kittens receive features from one parent but the plant offspring receives features from both parents.

D) Kittens receive features from both parents but the plant offspring receives features from a single parent.

Solutions -

In case of kitten, parents undergo sexual reproduction. In sexual reproduction two parents mate with each other to pass on their genes to the offspring. Sexual reproduction produces variations in the offspring. However, in asexual reproduction only one parent is involved and thus genetic material is contributed by only one parent due to which the offspring are look-alike of their parents.

the cat's ancestors' might have the features the kittens do, but not the mom.

if the plant only had one plant them it would have a higher chance of looking like it's parents.

same for the cat. the mother and father cats had more babies than the plant, so therefore the mother and father cat had to give mom genetics to all of the kittens but the plant didn't need to give as much of genetics as the momma cat.

sorry if this didn't help.

Can someone help me with this, my brain cant comprehend.
storchak [24]

Answer:

Baby 1 is the Smith's and baby 2 is the White's

Explanation:

Looking at the table and finding both of the parents blood types, seeing where they intersect at a square you can find what the baby's possible blood types are. Looking at the Smith's, going from both the B blood types you can see that the possible blood types are B or O. The White's blood types are AB and B, looking at the chart you can find the baby's possible blood types are A, B or AB but not O, so baby 1 cannot be their child.
