Well all of the coins total to 16. There are 3 quarters so you do 16-3=13. Then divide that by the total number of coins found earlier.

Answer=  13
                  16 chance to not get a quarter

Simply write out the probability of each.
Total coins: 4 + 4 + 5 + 3= 16

Pennies probability= 4/16
Nickels probability= 4/16
Dimes probability= 5/16
Quarters probability= 3/16

Now we just have to subtract the 3/16 probability of drawing a quarter from the whole, which is 16-3, or 13.

The probability of drawing and it not being quarter is 13/16.

The point is plotted on the number line.What whole number best approximates the value of x?
sattari [20]

You can eliminate 81 because we know \sqrt{81} =9

The dot is on approximately 9.32 (my estimate) so I would square that number:

(9.32)² = 86.8624 so if you round this you get 87

Answer:

The constant of proportionality is 2

The equation is y=2x

Step-by-step explanation:

The unit price or unit rate is $2

Let y represent the price of tomatoes, then the price of x tomatoes is

y=2x dollars.

This represents a direct variation.

This equation is of the form y=kx, where k=2 is the constant of proportionality.
