Compare the July 1 and November 17 British lines. Where were the most games against German forces made
shepuryov [24]

The Battle of the Somme started on July 1st 1916. It lasted until November 1916.

The most games against German forces were made on September 17th.

July 1st was a disaster for the British. When the soldiers advanced, they were killed by machine gun and rifle fire. It was the bloodiest day in the history of the British army.

On September 17th, the British could not compete with the Germans in the air. The Germans launched a massive attack, but their advance was defeated by French artillery and machine guns, which stopped them in their tracks.

The correct answer is war

In a way it is logical to think that the combination of militarism and imperialism leads to war, because the dispute for new territories and militarism in those territories leads to war.

Militarism is the name given to a philosophy that is favorable to the preponderance of the military element in the political and administrative life of a nation. It is the expansion of military practices for the political and social life of a nation.

Imperialism consists of a policy of expansion and the territorial, cultural and economic dominance of one nation over others.

From this perspective, powerful states seek to extend and maintain their control or influence over weaker peoples or nations.
