For the second question answer -10 and -4
The second one factor two numbers that add to 14 and when you multiply the numbers you get 40. Are 10 and 4
(X+10)(X+4)
X+10=0
Subtract 10 on both sides
X=-10. Answer
X+4=0 subtract 4
X=-4
3rd question X= 2 and X= -9

Two numbers that add to -7 and multiply to -18 are -2+9=-7. -2 times 9=-18
(X-2)(X+9)=0
X-2=0 X= 2. X+9=0 X=-9

(B) - (4)

(C) - (1)

(D) - (2)

Step-by-step explanation:

(5) The related polynomial equation has a total of four roots; two roots are complex and two roots are real.

(B) We are given the polynomial (x+i)(x−i)(x−2)³(x−4).

(4) The related polynomial equation has a total of six roots; two roots are complex and one of the remaining real roots has a multiplicity of 3.

(C) We are given the polynomial (x+3)(x−5)(x+2)²

(1) The related polynomial equation has a total of four roots; all four roots are real and one root has a multiplicity of 2.

(D) We are given the polynomial (x+2)²(x+1)²

HELPPPPPPPPP i have the most trouble with math what’s the answer??
kiruha [24]

Answer:

option B

3

Step-by-step explanation:

Given in the question an expression

\sqrt\frac{48}{x}

Whole numbers are positive numbers, including zero, without any decimal or fractional parts.

Possible range of domain will be 1 ≤ x ≤ 48

We know that perfect square between 1 and 48 are

1 , 4 , 16 , 25 , 36

1)

x = 3

√48/3 = √16 = 4

2)

x = 12

√48/12 = √4 = 2

3)

x = 48

√48/48 = √1 = 1

Tell wether the ordered pair (5,-3) is a solution of the system -3x+2y=-21;-x-y=-2
Viefleur [7K]

Answer:

(5,-3) is a solution of -x-y=-2

Step-by-step explanation:

You just plug in the numbers in the equation

x=5 y=-3

-5(5)+2(-3)=-25-6 which doesn't equal -21

-5-(-3)=-5+3=-2
