Answer:

Freeing enslaved people could make the Civil War worse

Explanation:

The 13th Amendment of the US Constitution establishes the abolishment of slavery and involuntary servitude. Though slavery was abolished by Abraham Lincoln in the 1863 Emancipation Proclamation; it was not official until after the Civil War when the 1865 Reconstruction Amendments were adopted. The counterclaim that some people had against the passing of this amendment was that it would create more trouble and conflict between the North and the South, making the Civil War even worse.

All choices

Freud's method of therapy encourages free association, cathartic experiences and exploration of the unconscious.

Answer: D

Explanation

Freud as the founder of psychoanalysis believed that all the mentioned choices can be used to cure people.

In addition, people can also be cured by helping them bring to the surface the unconscious or repressed behavior, memories etc.

When the unconscious is conscious it easier for both the healer and the patient to get clarity of what needs to be healed.

Psychoanalysis assumes that the root cause of most psychological problems is deeply unconscious.

They help patients to unearth the causes which may be trauma experienced at an early age and etc.

Reflection: The Black Death Today?
Lostsunrise [7]
A health crisis similar to the Black Death could happen, as seen with ebola and the Zika virus. The Black Plague was spread through so thoroughly through highly populated trade routes after the rats brought plague infected fleas on ships. These days, we have even more means of efficient travel including flights across the world, which allows an easy spread of disease across large areas. There are two likely ways such a widespread disease could occur: through unvaccinated kids, or spreading from areas with little sanitation. The ¨anti-vax¨ movement could easily create a problem in that unvaccinated children will catch preventable diseases, such as polio or the measles, and spread them to younger kids unable to get vaccinations, or to children who also don´t take their vaccines. Also, areas with little sanitation are breeding grounds for diseases, and if anyone leaves that area, say through a flight, they can spread it to a different continent and start an epidemic.

How many votes are needed to pass a bill in the house of representatives?
stiv31 [10]
Over half, so whatever that number may be it's one number greater. For example if there are 50 people then 25 is half so you would need 26 votes.
