This process is called <span>“rehearsal".
The practice is useful in memorizing and committing the information o memory especially for someone who is going to repeat the same lines on stage in a play or drama etc. Another kind of rehearsal is "elaborative rehearsal", which means relating the information acquired to already known information to remember it.
