Answer:

An argumentative tutorial that argues for or against young people’s ability to initiate positive change in their communities.

Explanation:

YOUNG PEOPLE AND THEIR ABILITY TO INITIATE POSITIVE CHANGE IN THEIR COMMUNITIES.

The question on whether young people can be able to initiate positive change in their communities has been here for a while. I cannot vote for or against it.

Young people can or cannot be able to initiate positive change in their communities based on different factors which include: attitude, literacy levels, influence, environment and much more.

The environment young people find themselves in might either influence or discourage their positive addition to the community, for instance, a young person in an abusive environment who is neglected cannot have time to think positively about his contribution to the community, he might be involved in actions which otherwise harm the society to fill the gap of his needs.

Young people are generally rebellious and shall always feel pushed to the wall to behave in a certain manner, due to this they always seem negative in their contribution to their community but the truth of the matter is that young people who have been given a culture of positivity and are shown exclusivity in the community shall always have positive contributions to make to their community.

Ilya [14]
Eliminate A, definitely not D. In this sentence, it says, "in a flourishing state in a forest." In some way flourishing is modifying the stick.
And since "stick" is used as a noun, your answer is C.

Hope this helps. If not, feel free to ask questions. :)

What punishment does Calpurnia impose upon Scout? *
prisoha [69]

Answer:

Calpurnia smacks Scout as a punishment for making rude comments about Walter's eating habits at the dinner table.

Explanation:

In Chapter 3, Jem invites Walter Cunningham Jr. over to eat dinner with his family, and Walter proceeds to pour syrup all over his meal. Scout is disgusted at Walter's eating habits and rudely comments on the fact that he is pouring syrup all over his meat and vegetables. Scout embarrasses Walter by asking "what the sam hill" he is doing. Calpurnia then requests Scout's presence in the kitchen and proceeds to reprimand Scout for her rude remarks. Calpurnia chastises Scout for not treating Walter with respect and tells her to stop acting so "high and mighty!". Calpurnia also makes Scout finish her meal in the kitchen and smacks her while she is walking into the dining room to retrieve her plate. While Scout is eating alone in the kitchen, she contemplates on how she will get revenge on Calpurnia for punishing her.
