how does Mercutio serve as a foil to Romeo? compare and contrast the two friendship and love for one another
shepuryov [24]

Answer:

Mercutio foils Romeo in the distinct ways of viewing love and romance.

Explanation:

In the playwright, Mercutio describes love based on the role of Queen Mab who plays pranks on lovers and forced them to fall in love. Mercutio views love as a mere joke or a simple "serendipity", while Romeo takes romance seriously. Romeo builds up his tenacity to confront Juliet, and asks for love advice from his peers. Hope this helps!
