ANSWER:

 • The shadow will first grow larger and larger, then it will shrink until it vanishes as the sun sets, is the condition that happens when marmot’s shadow is observed during late morning and sunset.

EXPLANATION:

 • It is the general physics which describes the light and shadow.
 • Marmot’s statue is the fixed position, sun rise forms a point where shadows is observed.
 • It grows lager as the sun rotates around and as it goes towards sunset, the shadow starts to vanishes slowly as the position of sun is changed during the day.

Which depositional landform is created at the ultimate base level (or terminus!) of a stream, where sediment is deposited into t
Pavlova-9 [17]

Answer:

Peneplain.

Explanation:

 • The base level is the lower limit of the erosional process and the ultimate base level is the plains that result from the projection of sea level under the landmass. This process of erosion creates a peneplain.
 • The base level is dynamic and changes according to the following factors as sea-level changes, tectonic factors, river captures, and sedimentation.
 • Peneplinasare low featureless deposits that are created by the terminus of the dream where the sediments are merged with the sea.

9. Which of the following is a primary consumer in the Newfoundland oceanic ecosystem? A) Shearwaters B) Penguins C) Capelin D)
bagirrra123 [75]

Answer:

9.) Humpback Whales

10.) Phytoplankton.

11.) Sotronger upwelling winds

Explanation:

9.) A primary consumer feeds on primary producers, of all the options given Humpback Whales, are the only ones meeting the criteria in the options given since they feed with plankton (a primary producer).

10.) Phytoplankton are the base of the Southern Antarctic Ocean trophic chain. In the nutrient-rich upwelling zone waters, they can reach huge blossoms and are far more common than other forms of zooplankton in this zone.

11.) The productivity of this ecosystem is influenced by the seasonal cycle of the upwelling winds, these peak during the months of December and January, carrying more nutrients and allowing trophic networks to work more efficiently and actively allowing for more productivity.

Which of following clast sizes would be most likely transported in very fast moving water? silt cobbles sand?
Vitek1552 [10]
I would say that in very fast moving water such as in a river, the cobble size could be transported because cobbles are 64-256mm so are quite big and in a quiescent stream won't move much but in a freshet say in a steep mountain stream they can be rolled along such as I observed in the local streams at a mining town during the Hurricane Fifi in Honduras in 1974.
