As the population of a region increases the demand for basic necessities of life like: Food, house, clothing will increase proportionally. and the ecosystem of the region bears the burden of such increase. cutting down of trees to provide for such necessities like shelter/house and food and even clothing will have an adverse effect on the forests in the surroundings where this population growth is taking place.
