5x+21+178/(x-7)<br> How do I solve for domain and range on this equation?
Luda [366]
The domain is easiest. You simply need to find the fractions, and exclude any X that makes the denominator zero. So in this case, your domain is everything except X=7.

For range, you are trying to find out what are the possible answers. Usually the best way to do this is to try x=infinity, and x=negative infinity, which here gives you answers of infinity and negative infinity. Since the function is almost continuous, I think your range is any real number.

12, 15. -27. What is the sum of the cards she chose?
diamong [38]

Answer:

Add 12 with 15, we would get 27

If we add 27 with -27, then we would get 0, because if a negative and positive number are the same, then you add them, you will alway's get 0

0 is your answer

Stonehenge is a circular arrangement of massive stones near Salisbury, England. A viewer at V observes the monument from a point
Marysya12 [62]

We are given the following measures:

mAB = 48°

mDC = 180°

In the given figure above, we can say that angle AVB is an exterior angle which intercepts two arcs, arc AB and arc DC, therefore in this case to solve for the measure of angle mAVB, we have to make use of the formula which is in words:

Find the difference between the measures of the two intercepted arcs and divide by 2, or expressed mathematically in this case as:

mAVB = (mDC – mAB) / 2

Substituting the given values into the equation:

mAVB = (180° - 48°) / 2

mAVB = 66°
