As we have to count the number of ways in which all 4 cards have different face value and all 4 cards are from different suit. We have 52 cards in the beginning. When we choose a card from suit 'A' then we can not pick the same suit nor the same face value which means 13 cards of the same suit and 3 cards of the remaining suits with same face value.
