Churchill was a remarkable man who was an expert in the use of the English language. By clever use of words he was able to inspire the population, inspire and motivate them. The one that is probably most remembered is the one about fighting on the beaches:

Nativist groups were against immigrants, blacks, Jews, Catholics, and other minority groups. They used methods of intimidation and violence in an effort to limit the power and say of these groups. The KKK is an example of a group that organized around the ideas of nativism and promoted what they believed to be the traits of "true" Americans.
