\frac{ {3}^{x + 4} -  {3}^{2x + 2}  }{ {3}^{x - 2} \times  {3}^{x + 4}  }  =   \frac{x + 4 - 2x - 2}{(x - 2) \times (x + 4)}  =  \frac{ - x + 2}{ {x}^{2} + 4x - 2x - 8 }  =  \frac{ - x + 2}{ {x}^{2}  + 2x - 8}
