Read this excerpt from Federalist Paper No. 1 and answer the question that follows: Federalist Papers: No. 1 General Introductio

n For the Independent Journal Author: Alexander Hamilton This idea will add the inducements of philanthropy to those of patriotism, to heighten the solicitude which all considerate and good men must feel for the event. Happy will it be if our choice should be directed by a judicious estimate of our true interests, unperplexed and unbiased by considerations not connected with the public good. But this is a thing more ardently to be wished than seriously to be expected. The plan offered to our deliberations affects too many particular interests, innovates upon too many local institutions, not to involve in its discussion a variety of objects foreign to its merits, and of views, passions and prejudices little favorable to the discovery of truth. Which of the following statements supports the idea presented in this quote from the excerpt? The plan offered to our deliberations affects too many particular interests, innovates upon too many local institutions, not to involve in its discussion a variety of objects foreign to its merits...
1) Hamilton feared the focus on regional interests would undermine the process of honest reform.
2)Hamilton would have replaced all those who participated in the first reform efforts if he could have.
3)Hamilton wanted to undermine the actors in the reform process, despite their good intentions.
4)Those involved in past reform efforts were completely motivated by personal gain.

Since Hamilton’s fear is that the plan won’t come to be due to a variety of discussions based on "objects foreign to its merits" it’s obvious the correct answer is number 4 due to the fact that every person wants what is best for themselves and as much as he replaces the people they will always gossip about the reform, there´s no evidence of an dishonest process being done and looking for a guilty party won’t do any good , so "those involved in past reform efforts were completely motivated by personal gain".

How does the point of view contribute to how the events are described in the passage? It is about the worst birthday from Harry
djverab [1.8K]

Answer: The point of view contributes to how the events are described in the passage because in Harry Potter's point of view, his twelfth birthday was the worse.

Explanation:

For his twelfth birthday, Harry Potter had to stay upstairs in his room making absolutely no noise whatsoever and pretending he didn't exist. He couldn't even use Hedwig, his owl, to send messages to his friends Hermione and Ron because she was locked up by Uncle Vernon. In addition to this, he met Dobby, the house elf, who was on his bed. Dobby ruined Petunia's sumptuous pudding by making it crash to the ground. This (and the owl) causes the Masons, Uncle Vernon's guests, to leave the house. Point of view contributes to these events because in Harry's opinion, being stuck in his room with no form of communication is the worst way to spend his birthday. He thinks he should be spending it by going out with his friends or socializing.

WILL GIVE BRAINLIEST AND RATE AND VOTE!!! AT LEAST LOOK, IT EASY BUT I AM DUMB.
solmaris [256]

Answer: D

Explanation: The answer is definitely not B because in a fictional story, we are not worried about the inevitability. It is not C because the author's feelings and experiences are not needed in a story. Next, we are down to And D. I would like to assume that D is the most accurate answer because it is an answer from a more analytical view of a text which is what the question asks. It also very much applies to a memoir and fictional story.

The use of repetition in the second stanza supports the poem's themes in what way?
Bond [772]

Answer:

The use of repetition in the second stanza  relates to language because it mirrors the kind of repetitive monotony that has characterized the poets life.  for EX. It linguistically creates excitement to suggest that the couple is happy. It doesn't suggest anything apart from what it describes.
