<span>In the book "Farewell to Manzanar" Jeanne felt that the situation was her own doing and as such, her own fault. This was when she was a child and the whole issue was happening at that time. However, when she grew up and became an adult looking back, she grew angry with herself for not doing anything about the situation.</span>
