Why did it take so long for the world to respond to the atrocities of the Holocaust?
erastova [34]

Answer:

Many did not want to believe, for others; they were already war-weary and they paid little attention to yet more suffering.

Explanation:

America was one of the many countries who, in the beginning, didn't do much for the Jews in the Holocaust. They didn't even let the Jews come in because they didn't want to be a part of it.

Read the quote and answer the question. Based on Sara Gudger's description, what was life like for an enslaved person? hard work
k0ka [10]

The correct answer is "full of endless, backbreaking work."

Although you forgot to attach the description, we did some research and can say the following.

Based on Sarah Gudger's description, what was life like for an enslaved person?

Answer:

"Full of endless, backbreaking work."

Sarah Gudger (1816-1938) was a black slave owned by the Hemphill family of Buncombe County, near Old Fort. She lived 50 years as a slave before the American Civil War.

When she was interviewed at the age of 121 years old, she described her life as a slave. She said that the wife of William Hemphill -his owner- was cruel. She said that woman sent slaves to work in the fields rain or snow, young and old. She said that woman had no considerations.

Name the ruling families in Spain and France
krok68 [10]

Answer: Spain: 1) in the first part of the history there are various monarchies and Spain is not united, 2) unification of Spain in 1469 under the kings of Aragon and Castile, 3) Habsburgs (the first Habsburg in Spanish throne was Philip I The Fair, son of Holy Roman Emperor Maximilian I) who ruled shortly during 1506. This dynasty reigned in Spain till 1714 (death of Charles II), 3) Bourbons (from 1714 till today). France: 1) Capet dynasty (starts with Hugh Capet), 2) Valois dynasty (which is a branch of Capet dynasty, starts with Philip VI, 1328 became the king of France), 3) Bourbon dynasty (first king of this dynasty was Henri IV, 1589). 4) short perior of Napoleon dynasty (Napoleon I), 5) Bourbon dynasty again (1814/15-1830), 6) Napoleon dynasty (so-called Second Empire, 1852-1870).

Explanation: that part of history that took place before 1469 I do not consider history of Spain because there were different monarchies there. What happened before Hugh Capet (Carolingian dynasty, Merovingian dynasty) I do not consider "France" because it was "kingdom of Francs".
