What I can tell is that they both share the same x coordinate. To help you understand, the horizontal line is from left to right, think of "The sun setting in the horizon.", it is often in the distance as a "left to right" line. So, I hope that helps, this leaves the vertical line as up or down.

With that out of the way, the x-axis lies on the horizontal line, whereas the y-axis lies on the vertical line.

Point coordinates are typically listed as (x, y), so... with that said, to find the distance we'll have to count downwards. As we know, negative x is to the left, negative y is further down, so... -3 to -12 is 9 points away.

Simple method: -3 - 9 = -12, or... -12 - -3 = -12 + 3 = -9.
In other words you get the basic idea, you can also just count, but whatever.

I hope that helps, have a great rest of your day! ^ ^

Global warming is the rise in the earth’s average temperature due to natural and human-made causes over a long period. Global warming is an issue that is threatening the earth and the near future and needs immediate attention.

One of the most urgent and immediate effects of global warming is the rapid increase in temperatures worldwide. Extreme weather is another result of global warming. Global warming can lead to extreme weather conditions apart from cold and heat extremes – for example, hurricane formatives change.

The world is seeing global warming coming to effect at a very high speed. Greenland’s ice caps have started melting at an astonishing pace, and Mt. Kilimanjaro has been losing snow rapidly. Global warming is not a national but a global problem.

Scientists have predicted that with the increasing population of the earth, which increases human activities, global warming will only worsen.

Answer:

This question is incomplete, because there is no picture, but I attached one, related with the question. The correct answer Trade winds are shown as number 1.

Explanation:

Trade winds and permamnet winds which blow between Tropic of Cancer, Equator and Tropic of Capricorn (which is between 30 degrees N and 30 degrees S.

These wind always flows from Tropics towards the Eqautor, because around the Eqautor is permanent low pressure area, and around the Tropics is permanent high pressure area. Air always flows from high pressure towards low pressure area.

Due to Earth's rotation trade winds curve a little bit, a they become prevailing Northeasterly Trades (in Northern hemisphere) and Southeasterly Trades (in Southern hemisphere). Earth rotates in west-east direction, and that is the reason for their deflection.

Trade winds got their name in the Age of Discovery (14-15 century) when sailing around the world and explorations were very common. Explorers find out that in specific regions exist winds with permanent direction. That was very importnant in the Middle Ages, so explorers always followed their patterns. Term '<em>trade</em>' is actually from Middle English and it means '<em>track</em>'.

What type of economy does each statement describe?
otez555 [7]

The correct answers are:

- Traditional;

- Market;

- Traditional;

- Command;

- Market;

- Command;

- Market;

- Command;

The traditional type of economy is an economy that is not willing of change, it keeps the things safe and usually without any risks, in order to maintain what they already have, so the progress is pretty slow.

The market economy is the most dynamic one, and it is an economy with free markets, lots of risks, and lots of opportunities, thus it is the one that has the most rapid changes, be it upwards or downwards.

The command economy is typical for the socialist systems. It is an economy where pretty much everything is organized, planned, and enforced by the government, and it is an economy that is orientating towards self-sustaining.
