History

They didnt want to lose control of the people. The church was one of the main forms of government at the time. They didn't want the people to leave the faith and learn more about Gallilaos work.

Galileo figured out that the earth revolved around the sun (or he built on that theory). The Catholic church however, taught that the earth was the center of the universe. IF they were proved wrong (and they were) people would question their other doctrines and teachings, and so they wanted Galileo to keep quiet about his discoveries.

hope this helps

Command economy advantages include low levels of inequality and unemployment and the common good replacing profit as the primary incentive of production. Command economy disadvantages include lack of competition and lack of efficiency

While there are several advantages to a traditional economy, these economies are not without their disadvantages. Because these economies rely on hunting, fishing, gathering, and the land in the form of farming, when the weather changes, the economy becomes jeopardized

A mixed economic system is a system that combines aspects of both capitalism and socialism. A mixed economic system protects private property and allows a level of economic freedom in the use of capital, but also allows for governments to interfere in economic activities in order to achieve social aims. According to neoclassical theory, mixed economies are less efficient than pure free markets, but proponents of government interventions argue that the base conditions such as equal information and rational market participants cannot be achieved in practical application.

What are the characteristics of factories
pshichka [43]
If you're talking about factories back in the day…

Think of the Industrial Revolution. ESPECIALLY in England. People were flocking to big cities where factories were so they could get jobs. This caused over population and a lot of struggle.

Factories were overcrowded, dirty, and very "harsh". Children were a big issue during this time because owners used them for work and they were so young. There were a lot of injuries, fires, and such because of just the lack of control in factories.

Now a days, we have learned from our mistakes and made factories cleaner and MORE ORGANIZED.
