Antimicrobial agents active <span>against mycobacteria have to be administered for months or years rather than the typical 10-30 days prescribed to treat other infections because mycobacteria reproduce very slowly.
So, over the period of time that mycobacteria reproduce, antimicrobial agents have to be taken so as to prevent these mycrobacteria from invading the body completely. Once their reproduction is completely prevented, antimicrobial agents don't have to be administered anymore.

The primary producers in an ocean grazing food web are usually ________.
Butoxors [25]

Answer:

phytoplankton

Explanation:

Phytoplankton can be defined as a set of photosynthesizing microorganisms that live floating on the water surface. It is composed of microscopic algae and cyanobacteria, which can be unicellular, colonial or filamentous. These microorganisms are defined as the primary producers of an ocean grazing food network.

Because phytoplankton live in aquatic environments - both in limic (eg lakes) and marine environments - they have a number of adaptations that guarantee their survival in the water column.  Some of these microorganisms, for example, have flagella that aid locomotion; others, in turn, have gas vacuoles that aid in flotation, while some of them have mucilage, which surrounds the cells and ensures protection, flotation and locomotion.

The Punnett square shows the possible genotype combinations of two parents who are homozygous for a trait.
anzhelika [568]
Heterozygous refers to a pair of alleles in which one is dominant and one is recessive. As you can see, all genotypes for possible offspring in the Punnett square are heterozygous. This means the probability of the parents having a child that is heterozygous is 100 percent likely.
