The answer is D: Hyperbole.  The writers use satire to criticize corruption and foolishness of a society or an individual as fictional  characters. And this technique employs <em>exaggeration</em>, irony, ridicule or humor. <em>Hyperbole</em><em> is a form of exaggeration, which purpose is to lay stress and emphasis on an action or an idea by overstating it.</em>
