There are two fraction ls with different denominators.To make the denominators same multiply and divide by 8 in ( 1 ÷ 6 ) and by 6 in ( 3 ÷ 8 )


$( \frac{1 \times 8}{6 \times 8} ) + ( \frac{3 \times 6}{8 \times 6} ) \\ \\ \\ \\ \frac{8}{48} + \frac{18}{48}$



Now both they denominators are same , so we can easily add 8 and 18 ,



$\frac{8 + 18}{48} \\ \\ \\ \\ \frac{26}{48} \\ \\ \\ \\ \frac{13}{24}$





Answer : 13 / 24
