Hi there!

So we know that what they're looking for is a 1-2 paragraphs explaining what each of these symbols might signify. So in order to figure that out. We have too look for what the symbols are looking for. So far the Prompt has given us a few key points such as: Moby, the color white, Ahab's peg leg, and the individual characters and the ways in which they die.

As for Moby his symbolism is that he's the main character of the story and he's also the title.

The color white: This symbolizes the color basically and that white is also a meaning of purity

Ahab's peg leg: Ahab's peg leg obviously means he's missing 1 leg. In which case it means he has to wear 1 made out of whale bone to support him while he stands! On his previous voyages his leg was said to be bitten off of by the whale himself: Moby

Individual characters':Moby is the whale. Ahab is the captain of the whaling ship Pequod.

Different ways in which they've died: The whale's death however wasn't specified, but Ahab was caught in a harpoon line and was dragged down to his death by the whale.

I hope this helps and have a fantastic day!

Read the following sentence.
e-lub [12.9K]

Answer:

The definition for "nailed' in this is "to have done precisely"

Explanation:

In this sentence it states that Ari had seen the "approval on everyone's faces" which in other words he think he had prosecuted the audition correctly which shows that the word nailed must mean "to have done precisely". Another reason is that the other definitions of nailed do not describe this correctly.
