I could be wrong but I think you solve for y then graph it then find where the lines intersect. You’re using ed puzzle though so just rewatch the part of the video and you’ll get the answer.
X square + 1x + 4x + 4
X(x+1)+4(x+1)
(X+1)(x+4)
Plug it in
7(4) + 8(5) which would be 28 + 40
Answer: 68
