The most commonly used phrase describing the growth of the American economy in the 1830s and 1840s was “Cotton Is King.” We think of this slogan today as describing the plantation economy of the slavery states in the Deep South, which led to the creation of “the second Middle Passage.”

Which of the following was the purpose of the formation of labor unions?
RoseWind [281]

Answer:

To get workers rights and safety.

Explanation:

I don't see a list of answers, but this is something I'm learning about right now. The purpose of the formation of labor unions was mainly to increase the safety of the laborers. A lot of factories were built cheaply, so safety wasn't a prime concern for the owners. It was really all about the money for them. So the correct answer would be somewhere along the lines of to get laborers rights and safety. Hope this helped!

In September 1941, this law was passed in Germany. Why would Hitler pass a law requiring Jewish people to wear a yellow star?
wel
So the Jews could be discriminated(bullied) and identified by the German people, them being identified was an important part of the Holocaust where it is said that nearly six million Jews were killed. Without the stars it would've been harder to identify them and perhaps less of them would have been exterminated(killed) by Adolf Hitler and the Nazi Party. Answer is Nuremberg Laws.
