An Equation with two operations is known as Two Step Equation, likewise an equation with more than one operations or multiple operations is termed as Multi-Step Equations.

This name is used because in order to solve the equation you have to use multiple steps. For example in an equation involving addition and squaring you have two perform two operations in their correct order to get to the answer. So for multiple operations, you have to perform multiple steps to reach at the answer.

Most of the equations we deal in Math are multi-step equations.

FInd the solution for 4(x - 5)=2(x - 10) +2x
crimeas [40]
Hello!

You solve this like an algebraic equation

You first distribute the 4 and 2

4x - 20 = 2x - 20 + 2x

Combine like terms

4x - 20 = 4x - 20

subtract 4x from both sides

-20 = 0x - 20

Add 20 to both sides

0 = 0

This means that there are infinite solutions to the equation.

Hope this helps!

How is 0.09 smaller than 0.1
denis-greek [22]

Answer:

0.09 < 0.1

Step-by-step explanation:

Remember that it doesn't matter how many numbers are after the tenths place of a decimal point what matters is the tenths place itself. If you have a decimal that has dozens of numbers but it's tenth place is a 3 and then you have a decimal with 5 numbers in whole but it's tenths place is 4, the 4 is greater then the 3 simply because it's greater in tenths.

Hope this helps.
