The correct answer is B.

Oak Ridge, a small city in Tennessee, had played a vital role in the development of the world's first nuclear weapons.

The so called 'Secret City' was the epicenter of the Manhattan Project, the American-led effort to build an atomic bomb.

The site scouted in Oak Ridge had ideal conditions for the military's plan: remote location and the perfect population size.

Oak Ridge was established in 1942 as the Manhattan Project started, it was a massive joint effort of American, British and Canadian forces to build and develop the atomic bomb.

Explain the sugar act
Ainat [17]

The Sugar Act, also known as the American Revenue Act, was a revenue-raising act passed by the British Parliament of Great Britain in April of 1764. The earlier Molasses Act of 1733, which had imposed a tax of six pence per gallon of molasses, had never been effectively collected due to colonial resistance and evasion.

frez [133]

Answer:

if I'm not mistaken they hated the cherokee

Explanation:

I'm quite sure that after the united states bought the territory that the Cherokee were on the settlers wanted the Cherokee off. they banded together soldiers and forced the cherokee into modern day Oklahoma using what they named THE TRAIL OF TEARS

So I kinda got this off the top of my head but I'm pretty confident so good luck!!!!

gayaneshka [121]
This sounds like sociology.... I took that as a college class my last semester this year!! So I may can help you some.
Social Behavior- Language, Mannerisms, Communication, the way you behave socially to communicate with your surroundings.
Cultural Behavior- Fashion, Slang, Dance, Music, behavior according to cultural influences
Phenomena - ( this one right here I might not be so accurate, but I will help you with what I know) Wildly different, confusing to pinpoint.
Taboo- something that is different from the norm, not commonly seen.
Theoretically, decency and conventionally are the most adhered norms of society because they aren't challenging or conflictive, they make it easy to get along and feel at ease with your surroundings. Just do what everyone expects you to do!!
Deviant may be referred to as a power struggle because if someone is deviant, they are not following the norms society has set into place, they are doing something different or atleast trying, this sounds like a power struggle because this person is now struggling with the power society has initially set to have over them. Resistance can be a struggle!!
