<h2>Answer:</h2>

Hence area of the top of plastic= 6\times 3-2(\pi \times (1.5)^2)

<h2>Step-by-step explanation:</h2>

The area of the tip of plastic is equal to area of rectangle minus area of two circles.

Now we know that the length(l) of rectangle=6 in.

and width of rectangle(b)= diameter of the circle= 3 in.

Hence,  Area of rectangle=l×b=6×3=18 square inches.

Now as diameter of circle= 3 in.

Radius of circle(r)= (3/2)=1.5 in.

Hence Area of circle= \pi \times r^2=\pi \times (1.5)^2

Area of two circle=2\times \pi \times (1.5)^2

Hence area of the top of plastic= Area of rectangle-Area of two circles.

                                                 = 6\times 3-2(\pi \times (1.5)^2)

zvonat [6]
Let present ages of father be x and of son is y years

x/y  = 7/2, 2x=7y, y=2x/7
(y+5)=37/100*(x+5)
(2x/7+5)=37/100*(x+5)
(2x+35)/7=(37x+185)/100
200x+3500=259x+1295
259x-250x=3500-1295
59x=2205
x=37.37 years

Natalija [7]

Answer:

0.43

Step-by-step explanation:

It's easy if you think of 43% as a decimal if you base it off 100. For example lets write a fraction about it: \frac{43}{100}. A decimal you can think of the same way. 0.43 is the same as saying 43% of 100 or 43/100.
