Story goes that Silenus, a satyr, one day slept on his gardens and was then brought to King Midas where his life was spared. Seeing his kind act, Dionysius the god granted him his wish that whatever he touches becomes gold. He then experienced all the effects of his greed and the curse was reversed letting the king learn important lessons. A person who visits King Midas, wanted to learn wisdom from his bitter experience
