What is 8 tenths - 5 hundredths

English
1 answer:
Harman [31]4 years ago
4 0
To start finding the answer to this problem, you should put both of these numbers into decimal form.  8 tenths=0.8.  5 hundredths=0.05.  Now you just subtract like you would with any other decimal subtraction problem.  0.8-0.05=0.75.

Your answer is 0.75.  In fractional form, this would be 3/4.  In percent form, this would be 75%.

Elenna [48]
In the book Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone Harry is the main character who is very important to the book. He is a brave, humble, and loyal character. Harry will do anything for his friends even if it means risking his life. He is very impulsive but super kind hearted. Harry is interesting because although he has a rough life he always stays happy and I like that about him.
