Mischel (1972) studied delay of gratification in preschoolers: Children were offered a special reward if they could wait or a le

ss attractive treat if they chose not to wait. A follow-up study was done years later, looking at the same children as adolescents. The researchers found an association between the waiting times of the preschoolers and parents' reports of the same children's behaviors as adolescents. Overall, a positive relationship between waiting time as a preschooler and self-control in adolescence emerged. Which correctly answers whether a causal relationship can be inferred?

Regional Development ensures sense of ownership at every development work with maximum involbement of the lovals.Elaborate
pav-90 [236]
The term “sense of ownership” is frequently cited as a significant characteristic of community development. While there is increasing use of the terms ownership or sense of ownership, there is a paucity of research regarding what these terms mean, how this body of knowledge influences community development, and the various approaches that can be applied in contemporary community research and practice. A sense of ownership in community development is described as a concept through which to assess whose voice is heard, who has influence over decisions, and who is affected by the process and outcome. Applying the concept of ownership can determine how the strategic interests and actions of individuals or organizations contribute to community development efforts. In addition, the potential for ownership can be understood in part by examining the capacity for and quality of trust. Implications are discussed regarding how the concept of ownership advances the current field, specifically regarding community development research and practice.

How did the introduction of barbed-wire fences benefit farmers?.
gulaghasi [49]

Explanation:

Barbed wire played a central role in the development of the Wild West. The “Devil's Rope” transformed the plains from an expansive open range into a set of defined and enforced tracts of cattle land and farm ground, buttressing property rights and facilitating a boom in economic productivity.

How to study for a social studies test 6th grade?
BlackZzzverrR [31]
Honestly that strategy is up to you. Do whatever makes you most comfortable and helps you remember easily. Ideas however: things like flash cards. Maybe take notes on what you've learned and rewrite them multiple times. Have your friends quiz you and if you get something wrong, write it down and repeat until you remember it better. (Quiz less on questions you know the answer to, and more on what you don't know) Maybe ask if you can have a practice test? If your teacher offers that it's a good chance for useful notes. Also don't be afraid to ask your teacher for studying help. Good luck
