The events of the Little Rock crisis and why did it tarnish the reputation of the state were the following.

We are talking about the terrible segregation times in the southern states of the United States. Specifically, in Little Rock, Arkansas, in 1957. The Little Rock Crisis started when nine African American students were prevented from entering the public school premises in Little Rock Central High School. State governor Orval Faubus gave the order. The decision made the news and generated consternation in many citizens. The decision tarnished the reputation of the state to the degree that President Dwight Eisenhower had to intervene to resolve the issue and the students could get access to the school.

How did the march to the sea affect the confederacy during the civil war
Advocard [28]

Answer:

It hurt the confederacy very harshly, by destroying many crop fields, taking control of a vast amount of previously controlled confederate land, and scaring many confederate supporters off.

Explanation:

Sherman led a march of about 60,000 soldiers from Atlanta to Savanna, Georgia.

The intention was mainly to scare any remaining confederate supporters off. Anyone who opposed had their possessions taken and their property burned. They did not destroy whole towns but they destroyed many crop fields, resulting in reduced rations for soldiers and less food for the families at home.

They also ended up capturing Atlanta, which at the time was a main railroad hub in the south, and also home to the ICOTC or the industrial center of the confederacy. It held many supplies for all of the armies in the deep south.

How do we remain true to ourselves as we move in and out of different communities, cultures and contexts?
Shalnov [3]

The correct answer to this open question is the following.

The way in which we remain true to ourselves as we move in and out of different communities, cultures, and contexts is by really believing in our foundations and moral pillars that were taught by our parents since we were children. We need to be convinced that the teachings we receive and the culture we had since childhood is proper for our lives.

Of course, we have to maintain an open mind to acknowledge that other people and other communities have their own valid culture; the by-product of their own history and customs.

And that is the beauty of diversity. To have many different things to learn from and to choose from. If we like it and find it useful, we choose it. If not, we discard it. But always, with absolute respect.
