The\ vertex\ form:\\\\f(x)=a(x-h)^2+k

\text{Use}\ (a+b)^2=a^2+2ab+b^2\qquad(*)

g(x)=4x^2+88x=4(x^2+22x)=4(x^2+2\cdot x\cdot11)\\\\=4(\underbrace{x^2+2\cdot x\cdot11+11^2}_{(*)}-11^2)=4[(x+11)^2-121]=4(x+11)^2+(4)(-121)=4(x+11)^2-484

Answer:

To keep it simple the answer is g(x) = 4 (x+11) ^2 + -484

The 4 stays the same and then the -484 is 88 multiply by -5.5.

Answer:

50g sugar, 100g butter and 400g flour

Step-by-step explanation:

You need to find the ingredient that is the limiting factor, in this case it is flour, because you relatively need the most of that.

If all 400g flour is used, you need 4 times less grams of butter, since the ratio between butter and flour is 2 : 8 and they differ by a factor of 4.

That gets you 400/4 = 100g butter, so in fact you're not using 200g of the remaining butter.

Likewise, you'll need 400 / 8 grams of sugar, which is only 50g.

So at least one of the ingredients you'll completely use, the other ones you need less according to the ratio.

Fill in the blank plz
Oduvanchick [21]

Step-by-step explanation:

a. Given => <em>m</em>∠5 = 40°

b. Given => <em>m</em>∠2 = 140°

c. Same Side Interior Angle Theorem => The same side interior angles must add up to 180°, which in this case, it does. m∠4 and m∠2 are alternate interior angles, and so there measurements are the same. 180 - 140 = 40

d. Both angles are part of the "same-side interior angles", which means that there measurements should add up to 180°. Note that m∠5 = 40°, and m∠2 = 140° (Given). Set the equation

m∠5 + m∠2 = 180

Plug in the number for each angle

40 + 140 = 180

180 = 180 (True).

e. It is proven that the above measurements are congruent with their corresponding parts. This means that a || b through <em>Converse of Same Side Interior angle Theorem</em>.
