tatiyna

Answer: The material that is not a mixture; it has the same properties all the way through is called a substance.

Explanation:

A pure substance is a form of matter that has a constant composition and properties that are constant throughout the sample. Hence, it cannot be separated by physical means. Example: Gold

Mixture is a substance which has two or more components which do not combine chemically and do not have any fixed ratio in which they are present. They can be separated by physical means as well. Example: Air

Thus the material that is not a mixture; it has the same properties all the way through is called a substance.

Which ball has the greater acceleration at the instant of release
melisa1 [442]
I can't see either of them, so I must assume that they're both
far away from me, at different places in the solar system.

So I can say with some assurance that whichever ball is on the
more massive planet will have greater acceleration when it's dropped.
Its acceleration will be constant, from the instant of release until the
instant it hits the "ground" or whatever they call it on that planet.

Which of the following illustrates 2 resistors in a series circuit?
umka2103 [35]

Explanation :

An electrical circuit can be either connected in series or parallel.

Series combination: The current flowing in each resistor is the same and the equivalent resistance is given by :

R{eq}=R_1+R_2+R_3+.................+R_n

Parallel combination: The voltage for all components in the parallel combination is the same. The equivalent resistance is given by :

\dfrac{1}{R_{eq}}=\dfrac{1}{R_{1}}+\dfrac{1}{R_{2}}+\dfrac{1}{R_{3}}......................+\dfrac{1}{R_{n}}

So, our of given options the correct one is (b) because the current flowing in both the resistors is the same.
