Hey!

Hope this helps...

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I'm assuming that the question on your homework is as general as this, if so, we can assume that TO and FRO are the exact same distance...
So...
5.28 / 2 = 2.64 miles
So...
The answer is: One way to the school is about 2.64 miles...
There are 81 red, blue and yellow
wel
Step-by-step explanation:
Here Given
Total counters = 81
red counters are 9 more than the yellow ones.
And Yellow counter = blue counter
So let the Yellow counter be x and as blue counter and yellow counter are same then blue counter will be also x
And by the question
Red counter = 9 + x
Now
9 + x + x + x = 81
9 + 3x = 81
3x = 81 - 9
3x = 72
x = 72 / 3
Therefore x = 24
Now
Red counters = 9 + 24 = 33
Blue counters = 24
Yellow counters = 24
Hope it helped :)
How many terms are in the arithmetic sequence shown below?
15, 7, -1, -9...,-225
NemiM [27]
We know that
We can write an Arithmetic Sequence as a rule:
an = a1 + d(n−1)
where
a1 = the first term
d =the "common difference" between terms
in this problem
a1=15  a2=7  a3=-1  a4=-9  .....    an=-225
d=a2-a1
d=7-15-----> d=-8
an = a1 + d(n−1)
for
an=-225
d=-8
a1=15
find n
-225=15+(-8)*(n-1)--> (n-1)=[-225-15]/-8----> n-1=30---> n=30+1---> n=31
the answer is
31
Please help, Algebra 1
Svetach [21]
3px = 2q(r-5x)
distribute
2qr - 10qx
3px = 2qr - 10qx
To solve for x
add 10qx to both sides
3px + 10qx = 2qr
factor out x
x(3p+10q) = 2qr
divide both sides by 3p+10q to isolate x
x = 2qr / (3p+10q)
Hope this helps :)
