The correct answer is: Option B. The storyteller uses character and conflict that the audience is very familiar with.

In order to engage their audience with the story, the storyteller must use elements that will most likely be immediately recognizable by the listeners. This way the audience's attention is sure to be caught, and will enable them to visualize and follow through with the story mentally using images of their familiarity.

How has televison changed from 1992 to Now?
Mamont248 [21]
For starters the look of tv has changed (as shown in the 2 pics).
It used to be as thick as about a ruler and a half and now they can be as thin as a piece of paper. Secondly quality. The video quality was different by much. Old television had very static like videos and now they are very smooth and fine cut. Lastly the amount of channels. Back then there werent as many channels as there are now, Especially of children's TV. Back then there was like.... 1 day a week with childerens shows.

This is indirect characterization because it SHOWS, rather than tells.
Here are two examples:
Indirect: Erica stomped her foot and flew out of the room.
This shows that she is angry, rather than just tells.
Direct: Erica was so angry she stomped her foot and flew out of the room.
This just tells you she's mad.
