There are many ways Oobleck acts like a solid and a liquid.

1. It is solid when you hit/punch it.
2. It is a liquid when you stop moving it.
3. When you make a ball with it, it's a solid until you stop playing with the fluid.

There are many more but these are a few. Hope these help!

Polymerization and the break down of a polymer are two opposite reactions. What role does a water molecule play in both of them?
ladessa [460]
In the process of polymerization, a chain of similar smaller molecules called monomer join together to create very large molecules called polymer. Through this chemical reaction, water is created as a by-product. In contrast to hydrolysis or breaking down of polymers, a water molecule is used to break the covalent bond that hold the components of a polymer.

lbvjy [14]

Answer:

Lactate, ethanol and carbon dioxide can be produced.

Explanation:

Glycolysis can takes place anaerobically in case of limited supply of oxygen and in absence of oxygen. Special enzymes are required for the anaerobically glycolysis to occur under the special circumstances.

The limited supply of oxygen, the glycolysis produce lactate as the major product. The absence of oxygen condition is responsible fior the production of ethanol by the glycolysis. Carbon dioxide is produced as the by product during both the cases.

Thus, the correct answer is ethanol, carbon dioxide and lactate.
