I believe was the frozen<span> conflicts besides the cold war that started in 1985 and ended in 1991 I mean if the frozen conflicts don't count as the last one then I THINK it is the cold war (1985-1991). :)

The Warsaw Pact is created in 1955. This political and military alliance is formed between the Soviet Union and their satellite states such as Romania and Bulgaria.

The Berlin Wall is not built until 1961. This wall would come to symbolize the Cold War tensions, as the US controlled West Berlin and the Soviet Union controlled East Berlin.
