What caused the end of the British-American Indian alliance in the War of 1812 was the death of Tecumseh. This Indian chief from the Shawnee tribune was a great enemy of the Americans. Throughout his life, he fought the settlers and tried to defend his people against invasions.

Further explanation

There were some chronologies of the battle against America that Tecumseh made:

 • He began his struggle during the American Civil War between 1780 and 1783. He was on the side of the British with whom he participated in many battles.
 • Between 1790 and 1795, he fought to defend his territory in the northwestern United States but lost the war to the Battle of Fallen Timbers. However, he never signed a peace treaty and continued the resistance.
 • From 1809, he traveled throughout the northwestern United States to create an alliance between the different Indian tribes of the region. But, it was another failure. He was defeated by William Henry Harrison at the Battle of Tippecanoe in November 1811.
 • The starting of the War of 1812 between the British and Americans was a good opportunity for him to take his revenge. He joined the British in Canada and fought alongside them. He died on October 5, 1813, during the Battle of the Thames which marked the end of his alliance with the British.

Which foreign policy concerns disappeared with the end of the cold war?
GenaCL600 [577]

I think the answer would be New World Order. After 25 years, the US had won over Moscow and thus ended the Cold War between Soviet Union and United States. I think one of the concerns of both US and USSR is to tackle the issue of terrorism. They have come to the conclusion that they should stop attacking each country and focus more on terrorism and economic development.
