How did the flooding cycle provide a seasonal rhythm for the Egyptian people?
Semmy [17]
This is easily explained with the fact that the Egyptian people were farming along the river Nile and waited for the flooding cycle which brought increased amounts of water from the mountains as the snow was melting. Due to this, they could arrange their seasonal working rhythm of growing crops according to the flooding cycle and could prepare for increased amounts of water which they could use to  help grow their crops.

HELP PLEASE IM TIMED!
JulsSmile [24]

Answer:

I think it would be B

Explanation:

The Hundred Years War ended up taking people's moolah very fast, so it was harder to pay taxes.

Nobles and others started hoarding their money and stop paying taxes, so the King got weaker and weaker, and the power would have went to Parliament, because the Parliament didn't have a 1 man ruling everything, as if the King screwed up, then the kingdom goes boom, but if one person in Parliament screws up, theres like 649 other people to back up.

Which nations are on the security council and why were they chosen as members?
Oksanka [162]
There are five permanent and ten temporary members of the UN Security Council. The states sitting on the security council as permanent members are USA, UK, France, Russia and China, all of which retain the right to veto any action before the Security Council. The remaining ten members of the Security Council rotate between other UN member states. This setup is largely a function of the geopolitics in the immediate period following the end of WWII: the five permanent members were the most powerful states and were on the victorious side of the War.

1.06 The Historian’s Clues ? do anyone know how to do this part ? if so may you help me ?
harina [27]

The correct answer to this open question is the following.

Although you did not include further reference or context, we can answer is general terms.

Historian's clues are similar to investigators' clues. Historians have to follow these clues to collect information to investigate dates, characters, motives, numbers, and other facts that were important parts in a historic event or incident. Not everything is there, on the surface for the historians to grab it. No, most of the time, historians, as well as archeologists or anthropologists, have to follow clues to do some research in one direction or the other. That is why they go deeper to find the truth.
