Yes 2,920 is the correct answer because if you divide 2,920 divided by 8 then you will get 365 days.

Yep.  If he says that by the end of a 365 day period he will have drank 2,920 glasses of water, then, if you divide 2,920 by 365 you will get the right answer of the average 8 glasses of water a day.
