By requiring industries to recycle 25% of plastics in their manufacturing process is one way to prevent pollution and save our environment. We all know that most plastics are not biodegradable, it means that they cannot be decomposed naturally no matter what you do to it. Burning plastic would even harm our environment. In that being said, recycling them would be a better choice. By reusing plastics, the number of it that would just contribute to the world's pollution would be reduced.

how does being mindful of your strengths, skills, weaknesses, and potential challenges or obstacles impact your personal, academ
aalyn [17]

Explanation:

It’s not unusual for people to compare themselves with others around them, and to feel superior or inferior towards them based on their strengths and their weaknesses.

The thing is, every individual is different and we all function differently based on our personalities. It is important to know yourself and your capacities.

Your strengths are things you can leverage on, things you can use to push yourself further.

On the other hand, your weaknesses are not your downfall. These are areas you need to improve on. It is not something you lack. It is something you need to develop and build.

In order to leverage your strengths and improve on your weaknesses, you first need to know them.

You put money into an account that earns a 5 percent nominal interest rate. The inflation rate is 2 percent, and your marginal t
alina1380 [7]

Answer:

The after tax real interest rate of interest is 2%

Explanation:

The after tax real interest rate is computed as follows:

Given,

Nominal interest rate is 5%

Inflation rate is 2%

Computing before tax real interest rate as:

Before tax real interest rate = Nominal interest rate - Inflation rate

= 5% - 2%

= 3%

Computing tax:

= 20% tax on nominal interest rate

= 20% × 5%

= 1%

Now, computing after tax real interest rate as:

After tax real interest rate = Before tax real interest rate - Tax

= 3% - 1%

After tax real interest rate = 2%

What happens when a price floor is imposed above the equilibrium price of a good?
PolarNik [594]
Price floors can have differing effects depending on other government policies. If the government agrees to purchase a specific maximum of unsold products at the price floor, it incentivizes a business to increase supply or at least to stay in the industry despite slow sales. Many governments do this for areas they see as strategically or politically significant, such as agriculture, or to prevent what they consider to be unfairly low prices of its products. If a foreign government sets a price floor for coffee beans, for example, and then agrees to buy the surplus up to a certain amount, it encourages growers to maintain their operations by placing an effective hedge against price fluctuations. If you own a small coffee shop, these price floors mean that you’re more likely to be able to find your imported beans, but you’ll pay more for them
