Stomata are cells that contract/expand to open/close pores for gas exchange. They adjust to temperatures so they stay closed when the climate is hot and dry to stop water and gas from being lost. Stomata makes it easier for photosynthesis to happen.

Photosynthesis actually happens in the chloroplast. Light reactions in the thylakoid membrane produce oxygen, atp/energy, and NADPH. The Calvin Cycle in the stroma uses carbon dioxide, atp, and NADPH to make carbohydrates (glucose/sugars).

HELP??? How is convection in the mantle different from convection in the ocean?
Murrr4er [49]

Answer:

Ocean currents result from two processes - the action of wind on the surface of the water, and from variation in water temperature that causes movement- a process known as convection.Mantle convection is the slow creeping motion of Earth's solid silicate mantle caused by convection currents carrying heat from the interior to the planet's surface. ... This subducted material sinks through the Earth's interior.
