This bacterial overgrowth can happen either when bacteria from one part of the digestive tract travel to the small intestine or when naturally occurring bacteria in the small intestine multiply too much.

Does your child seem much shorter - or much taller - than other kids his or her age? It could be normal. Some children may be small for their age but still be developing normally. Some children are short or tall because their parents are.

But some children have growth disorders. Growth disorders are problems that prevent children from developing normal height, weight, sexual maturity or other features.

Very slow or very fast growth can sometimes signal a gland problem or disease.

The pituitary gland makes growth hormone, which stimulates the growth of bone and other tissues. Children who have too little of it may be very short. Treatment with growth hormone can stimulate growth.

People can also have too much growth hormone. Usually the cause is a pituitary gland tumor, which is not cancer. Too much growth hormone can cause gigantism in children, where their bones and their body grow too much. In adults, it can cause acromegaly, which makes the hands, feet and face larger than normal. Possible treatments include surgery to remove the tumor, medicines, and radiation therapy.

Why does meiosis produce cells with fewer chromosomes?
Mandarinka [93]

Let me explain something that can make you easily understand ok?

So as you know, humans has 46 chromosomes right?

Also, you know that when a gamete is formed there are 2 cell infused to form that 46 chromosomes. (The human cell and sperm)

IF the cells has 46 chromosomes each and it infused with another 46 chromosomes then the total will be 92 chromosomes and not 46 chromosomes. That's why the cell produced only has 23 chromosomes which is fewer so that when it form a genetic material, the total chromosomes will be 46 chromosomes.

Sorry if my english sucks, hope you understand REEEEE

primers are used to cleave specific regions of the DNA template. In a typical PCR, primers are used to cleave specific regions o
sammy [17]

Answer:

False

Explanation:

Primers are the small segments of DNA or RNA. Primers do not cleave DNA at specific regions. It is a function of restriction endonucleases. Primers are required during the process of DNA replication as DNA polymerase cannot start the formation of a new DNA strand without preexisting free 3' OH ends. A primer is formed by a primase enzyme. Primers provide the free 3' OH ends to DNA polymerase which in turn extends them to make the new DNA strands. In PCR, primers serve as the same function for the enzyme of DNA strand formation (Taq polymerase).
