A city council member in a small town suggests that residents switch to more expensive bottled water until the tap water can be
guajiro [1.7K]

The correct answer is C) a Straw Man.

The type of fallacy the second council member is making is Straw Man.

A strawman argument is an argument that is fallacious and distorts an opposing argument with the intention of attacking it more easily. But what really happens is that the strawman argument is not responding or attacking the original argument, but a distorted idea of the original argument,

In this case, the type of fallacy the second council member is making is a strawman, when he says that “making drinking water only available to rich people is a terrible idea.”

Which pharaoh is regarded as being one of the most successful female Egyptian leaders, having reigned longer than any other fema
raketka [301]

Both C and D were both male rulers, so we can rule them out.

Next comes Hatshepsut and Cleopatra.

Cleopatra was a co-regent. Even though she was a very strong person of history, Hatshepsut takes the answer.

Hatshepsut ruled for a whopping 20 years, making her considered one of the most successful female Egyptian rulers.

Hope this helps!

How much time elapsed between the louisiana purchase and the gadsden purchase?
Anettt [7]
Louisiana Purchase happened in 1803, specifically, July 04, 1803. (but the celebration of July 4 remembers this day in 1776, not 1803)

Gadsden Purchase - December 30, 1853.

The difference is a round 50 years, and more specifically 50 years, 5 months and 26 days!
