The word pictures or images in aids me in experiencing the scene in the excerpt of "The Day of Destiny" by giving me a clue, and idea and even a better picture of the events or places or situations. The word pictures or images provide me a more visual and clearer pictures or ideas of the persons and places as mentioned in the text since it provides me of specific details even the smallest ones  using images in the form of words or description.
