. Basically what it did was to decrease the number of peasants who were forced to work on the landed people's property for very low wages. After the plague, there was a build up in the middle class as the peasants, now in short supply, could bargain for higher wages so, in turn, prices of farm goods increased, but the peasants got more status.

The black death wiped out 30 to 50% of the world's population. Keep in mind that there weren't as many people on earth to begin with so less people died but more of the population.

What is one benefit of submitting a claim to an insurance company?
Leviafan [203]

One benefit of submitting a claim to an insurance company is that it helps to cover any expenses for a loss.

If, for example, someone bumped into your car and broke a rear-view mirror, you may need to pay for the mirror to be replaced. You can then submit an insurance claim to your car insurance company, meaning that you are asking for the company to refund the cost of the replacement because this sort of loss is covered by their policy.

Answer:

Blank 1; Veto. Blank 2; Transport

Explanation:

I'm not sure that Veto fits the blank because it could be that or petition, neither really fit but I've narrowed it down to those two. Blank two I know and I'm confident that it's transport.

Home Was a Horse Stall- At the farewell breakfast she prepared, Mrs. Perkins refused to allow Nee and Sox to help serve the meal
dlinn [17]

In this story, we learn about the experiences of the Kataoka family. They were one of the Japanese families that suffered through the experience of internment camps during World War II.

Before this experience, the Kataoka were renting land from Mrs. Perkins, who came to really value and appreciate them. When the Kataokas had to leave their home, Mrs. Perkins cooked for them and refused to let them help, as a sign of appreciation. Moreover, when she went to visit them at the camp, she helped them cover the damp, dirty floor and took a broken watch to have it repaired.

How did the Civil War influence the role of government in the United States?
Romashka [77]
The Civil War influenced the role of government in the United States because it highlighted how the national government was the sovereign power. Following efforts by states to succeed and establish their own system of government the national government of the U.S. asserted is dominance and defeated the southern belligerents, thereby reasserting its dominance over politics and government in the United States following the war.
