Hello! :)

−4x + 6 > 14 Simplify both sides

−4x + 6 − 6 >1 4 − 6 Subtract 6 from both sides

−4x > 8

-4x/-4 > 8/-4 Divide both sides by -4

x < -2 (ANSWER)

Hope this helped you!

Answer:

x < -2

Step-by-step explanation:

1. Original Inequality: 10 – 2(2x + 2) > 14

2. 10-4x-4>14

<em>Distribute the -2 to 2x and 2. </em>

3. Simplify the left side: 6-4x>14

<em>Do 10-4 </em>

4. Subtract: -4x>8

<em>Subtract 6 from both sides to get x by itself</em>

5. Divide: x< -\frac{8}{4}

<em>You want to divide by -4 that way you can find what x is. When you divide OR multiply by a negative number in an inequality you are going to need to switch the way the sign is facing.</em>

6. Simplify: x< -2

7. Check:

10-2(2(-3) +2) > 14

10-2(-6 + 2)

10-2(-4)

10+8

18 > 14

Perform the following operations and write the answers in radical form.
strojnjashka [21]

Given:

Part A: \sqrt{7}+\sqrt{3}+\sqrt{98}-\sqrt{18}

Part B: 3 \sqrt{5}-3 \sqrt{11}+2 \sqrt{121}-3 \sqrt{90}

To find:

The simplified radical form.

Solution:

Part A: \sqrt{7}+\sqrt{3}+\sqrt{98}-\sqrt{18}

\sqrt{98}=\sqrt{7^2 \times 2} =7 \sqrt{2}

\sqrt{18}=\sqrt{3^2 \times 2} =3 \sqrt{2}

Substitute these in the given expression.

\sqrt{7}+\sqrt{3}+\sqrt{98}-\sqrt{18}=\sqrt{7}+\sqrt{3}+7\sqrt{ 2}-3\sqrt{ 2}

Add or subtract the coefficient of same radical.

                                    =\sqrt{7}+\sqrt{3}+(7-3)\sqrt{ 2}

                                    =\sqrt{7}+\sqrt{3}+4\sqrt{ 2}

Part B: 3 \sqrt{5}-3 \sqrt{11}+2 \sqrt{121}-3 \sqrt{90}

2 \sqrt{121}=2\sqrt{11^2}

           =2\times 11

           = 22

3 \sqrt{90}=3\sqrt{3^2 \times 10}

           =3\times 3 \sqrt{10}

           =9 \sqrt{10}

Substitute these in the given expression.

3 \sqrt{5}-3 \sqrt{11}+2 \sqrt{121}-3 \sqrt{90}=3 \sqrt{5}-3 \sqrt{11}+22-9 \sqrt{10}

Can someone help me please??<br>
oksian1 [2.3K]

Answer:

B

Step-by-step explanation:

Comparing like terms on both sides

x^{6} → x²

Note that x² = \sqrt[3]{x^{6} }

y^{12} → y^{4}

Note that y^{4} = \sqrt[3]{y^{12} }

Also

54 → 3

Note that 54 = 3³ × 2

and \sqrt[3]{54} = \sqrt[3]{3^{3}(2) } = 3\sqrt[3]{2}

Hence

\sqrt[3]{54x^{6}y^{12}  } = 3x²y^{4}\sqrt[3]{2}

Hence n = 3 → B
